Skydive Maryland is located at Ridgely Airpark, just 25 miles from the Bay Bridge on 120 acres along the picturesque headwaters of the Choptank River. Skydive Maryland is the closest skydiving center to Annapolis, Baltimore, Washington DC, and Northern Virginia. Enjoy our unmatched 360 degree views of the Chesapeake Bay, the Atlantic Ocean and onwards to downtown Annapolis, and the Baltimore skyline. Ridgely is also home to Highland Aerosports where you can experience tandem hang gliding flights. No other airport in the Northeast offers the services that Ridgely does. Come spend a day, or an entire weekend, we offer free camping with hot showers, and we promise you’ll never get bored!

Skydive Maryland has served Baltimore, Washington DC, Northern Virginia, and Delaware since 1974. We are the oldest continually operating skydive center in the Northeast, and one of the oldest in the country. We have taught over 12,000 people to skydive and dropped well over 1 million skydivers! The senior members of our staff have overseen thousands of training jumps. Skydiving is our passion, profession, and hobby, and it has been that way for over 33 years. We’ve even taught most of our competition to jump!

Tandem skydiving is Skydive Maryland’s specialty, and we take it seriously keeping your safety our number one priority. Using specialized high performance parachutes built for two, just about anyone can experience the thrill of a 120mph freefall followed by the surreal beauty of a scenic parachute flight all with the safety and added assurance of a certificated, professional tandem instructor.
